Here I have a good representation of what could be found hiking the military telegraph lines in Arizona 20 years ago. Although we would occasionally find whole insulators, must of the time they were broken with pieces missing like all of these. Tie wires, splices, pins and horse shoes can also be found and it was these items that helped us find the glass. All in all a nice display of artifacts that were used 30 years prior to Arizona even becoming a state.
