These cans were normally used to bring an underground lead or pic cable up to be terminated and jumpered onto open wire leads. In this case, it looks like this atypically smaller can, probably a six pair terminal, appears to have been used only to house protectors, as no cable is running into the bottom of the can. 1/31/2010.
