I found an old topo map in the USC archives that had the old Portsman Shoals transmission line on it. The transmission line was built around 1895. It came from the Portsman Shoals Dam (gone today) to the Anderson Cotton Mills and the town of Anderson, SC. NO port of the line remains. Red line marks the abandoned line and green mark a modern live line.
