Up for sale is a bit of an unusual Hemingray CD 106. We browse through thousands of the normal aqua '9s here in Ontario on a regular basis. These things were used all over the place, just like in the U.S.A.. Every once in a while, a slightly more unusual one turns up. This was that one for the year 2009. This piece is the normal [330] embossing style, in a normal aqua colour but with an abundance of amber swirls all throughout the glass. The swirls run throughout the entire insulator, making heavier swathes in the rear and front skirts, and a cool "corkscrew" line running up through the dome. There are also an abundance of black metal-looking fragments throughout the dome and skirt. The photos do not do the insulator justice. It really is a magnificent piece! The condition of this one is excellent for a No. 9. I can only see one chipped drip, and two tiny pings on the dome top, both less than 1/8" in diamtre. I am asking $28.00 U.S. plus shipping for this piece. I accept PayPal, and personal cheques or money orders from any member of ICON, or anyone I've dealt with before. Please feel free to email me for more photos, or with any questions. I encourage you to look through my "For Sale (Not Sold)" stock, and combine items to save on shipping. |
