I started collecting insulators when I was ten years old. At the time I lived on the plains of Colorado. Farmers were always plowing up insulators along the track I walked that ran behind my house. These were some of my first insulator finds. I probably found these when I was eleven or twelve? The CD 126.3 and the two star CD 102's were found plowed up along the RR right of way. The tramp base was found next to a barbed wire fence post along a dirt road. I guess the farmer had plowed it up and thrown it next to the fence to get it out of his way.
