Twenty-something years ago, I helped wreck an early Ma Bell toll line in Central Calif. It was about 95% AT&T CD 121's, and as a rough estimate, I handled or at least took a look at 800 to 1000 of them. In all that effort, I didn't notice a single one that was warped, squished, junky, underpoured, mis-spelled or defective in any way. Just TOO perfect I thought. Yesterday I walked into a junk store, and for reason's I still don't understand, I picked up the single AT&T sitting on a shelf to take a look. I finally found the toll that missed the AT&T Q/A inspectors :) . The defect even formed a hole through the skirt. I'll offer to someone who collects such items.
