This is the second time in a row that I have uncovered a common style Hemingray 40 with waves of amber grain throughout, in this particular Florida locality. I think I paid $2.00 for this soot-covered piece. Funny enough, only the skirt and base were covered in soot. Maybe the line used hybrid steam locmotives? Nah. Click for the cleaned up pic.
