"Tserkov." I believe the translation is "Church", as in Russian Orthodox Church.

I am blown away by the beauty of such structures, especially when you think that 2 blocks away are the previously shown buildings that have been bombed out hulks for 65 years. The contrasts are remarkable.

Having lived in Canada all my life, I am spoiled. The fact that these 2 structures, one of considerable beauty, and one of stark desolation can be within 2 blocks of each other is mind boggling to me
