Here's that chain of suspensions I found in the mud a month or so ago, nice and cleaned up now, or as clean as it could get. Whatever was in the mud that it was burried in really corroded the metal, when i busted off all the rust (so as to free up the chains and get them moving again) i realized that the hardware was probably comprimised and if the insulators spun around, they would fall apart. They did, one i got it cleaned they fell apart. The hardware that would have once held the line ware was completly rusted beyond recognition (cut my hand multiple times on that one...), the hardware on the top (which i will post a picture of) had one of the loops rusted through, so now it's weight rests on just one, one of of the claws on the botton half of the midle disck has competely rusted through. But the ceramic parts of the insulator are just fine.
