Here is another awesome picture taken from the Denver & Western RR. I assume this one was probably taken in the Grand Canyon. If you look closely, you'll see a pole and crossarms about halfway up the mountain, above the train. How the heck did they set the pole there? The face of that mountain is nearly vertical. It would have been extremely tough for anyone to get up there and "pick" those insulators off of that ole pole, indeed. What an incredible ride it would have been to take a ride on this train going through these mountains.............. .wow.
