I found a couple old railroad books today chock full of pics. One of them was very large and has huge color pictures with beautiful scenery in it. The other book covers just early Texas railroads in it and has lots of pics also. This particular picture shows a train on the Vernonia South Park & Sunset Steam Railroad, and it came out of Banks, Oregon as can be read in the caption on this photograph. The gigantic wooden tressle looks as though it went down into an extremely deep ravine. What a gigantic railroad tressle...........
