A cheat sheet I made up so that I can tell at a glance if I have a particular piece. I have a printed copy with sizes, colours, embossings etc. Few seem to have cd numbers.

I somehow posted the wrong picture. The intended picture is similar, the insulators are sorted by height, and the rows trimmed up a bit. But you still get the idea. I will update this picture in a couple weeks with some new additions.

Caleb Thimell replied, Several l examples in your photo have already been identified over the years and posted in Crown Jewels magazine. You can search the website www.cjow.com and find the numbers assigned. Collectors have posted cd numbers here on www.insulators.info/pictures too. Additional pieces have been assigned in recent years by Woody.

There is certainly more work to be done. A suggestion for collectors is to update their photos on ICON website. That might reduce confusion and perception that few are assigned.
