Up for sale is a particularly scarce embossing style of Brookfield CD 102, the [290] embossing style, with Brookfield on the front skirt, and NEW YORK on the rear skirt. These little fellows stand out like a sore thumb from the legions of normal, three-piece mould types of Brookfield ponies that turn up all over the US and Canada. With that absurdly oversized crown, particularly thin skirt, and unusual threading, this one is a horse of a different colour to say the least! This example also has significant underpour around the right-hand and rear half of the base. The pinhole in this one goes almost all the way to the top! There are also a lot of straw marks all over the skirt. This one was apparently used in Ontario - something I did not know had ever been documented!

The condition of this one is not bad, but not as good as some of the examples I have seen sell for premium cost. This one has a 1/2" chip on the rear lower wire ridge, and another 1/2" long bruise on the other side of the rear lower wire groove. Short of these two impacts, there is only a bit of very light wear on a few parts of the skirt. Certainly not a bad example!

I'm asking $25.00 U.S. plus shipping for this example. I accept personal cheques or money orders from any member of ICON, and I freely accept PayPal as a payment method. Please feel free to email me with any questions, or for additional photos. All the best!
