On August 27 '09, I observed the Tillamook PUD line crew at this pole (the next one down the hill and just replaced in May), preparing to add a dead end anchor and cable to the pole. I thought that I knew what they were going to do so I walked over and talked to the crew. It was the foreman that I knew and his crew. He said that the land owner requested removal of the old pole on Goat Hill and also remarked that somebody is going to have to pay plenty if they want service up there again. I agreed and watched them work, then got my camera and went up on the hill to watch them remove it.
