This photo shows the old power pole up on Goat Hill, a steep little 'mountain' situated not far from the back of my property here in Garibaldi, on the Oregon coast. After doing some research I found that the pole was installed at the top of the hill by Mountain States Power Co., a predecessor to the current utility here, Tillamook PUD. in circa 1953.
