Found these three insulators first think after the sunrise last Sunday. I actually turned about a dozen other pretty common insulators of their pins before I could even se what color they were. There was nothing worth keeping from that entire lot. Someday someone may find the group and think they have found a furtune, sell them to a local antique shop and I'll get to look at them again. Very soon after leaving the location where I found the previous insulators. I found the three pictured here. The cover was much better in this location and not right next to the highway. The B on the left has a 3/8" stone just below the wire groove. The CD 147 had a real nice amber swirl in the dome with other amber elsewhere. There was also some milk from about the start of the wire groove going down to the base of the skirt. I've already sold this one for $30. The B&O was the thrird I found in two or three weeks. This one was down a step bank that was surround and protected by thick brush and the the water it was in. Too bad it was in two pieces. The whole thing was there and will glue back together nicely. |
