Dale Mlasko (center) and Jeff Hooper (right) shared the task of conducting free walk-in appraisals and silent auctions. Free walk-in appraisals and silent auctions are a big draw for our southern Oregon shows. This tradition was started by the Jefferson State Insulator Club at the 2000 Medford show. Since then, free appraisals and auctions have been adopted by several clubs in the insulator and bottle hobbies. To the far left is Deb Silva, wife of show host Bruce Silva. The Canyonville show is the result of a long standing collaboration between bottle and insulator collectors... a very successful combination!
