For sale today we have a beautiful piece of Canadian history from a great early Canadian glass house. A CD 740 Foster Brothers threadless in Dark Olive green colour, but i would not call it blackglass.. The nice thing about this piece is that you CAN see through the skirt and dome with a strong underlight. As you will see from the second picture I post, when holding up to the light, you can see through the pinhole. This is something that is very scarce as far as Foster Bros. go, as most of them are extremly tough to see through, and a lot you can not see through at all.

This piece was split into 3 pieces, and reglued. It does not have any resin repair. There is not any glass on the base missing, and only a small chip of glass missing from the dome where 2 of the pieces were glued together. It is about 3/4 inch long, and 1/2 at the widest. It is not overly deep either. I can send pics of the chip if wanted. The piece also has some overpour on one side, which is amazing considering how old this insulator is.

Asking $255 plus shipping. Insurance is optional, but I will pack this piece with the upmost care as I do to all my pieces. Email for more pics if needed.
