Here is a strange CD 152 Hemingray I thought other collectors would get a kick out of seeing. Not only is it a nice olive color, not only does it have decent amber swirling, but this CD 152 also has a strange black what's-it in the skirt. The unknown thing isn't a solid object.....but rather a thick conglomeration of carbon or something. It almost appears to be black paint or ink when looking at it closely. Not sure. The stuff goes from the wire groove down into the inner skirt rather than the outer skirt. When looking at it upside-down, it appears to be something evil looking. Strange piece indeed.
