I have always enjoyed porcelain exchange style insulators and I was lucky enough to add this to my collection very recently through a trade. For me, it is not only a new style that was just assigned a new U# but it is also the first Franklin Porcelain insulator I have owned.

The first owner pulled several of these off of a farmer's line in South Dakota. From what he knows there are only about a dozen of these that were saved to date.
