Hi all! Having been asked for a contribution about a week ago, I'm just getting around to submitting it now, in the form of this picture of a CD 149 we acquired in a small, 35-year collection. What's unusual should be obvious; the weird little "button" or "nipple" of glass on the very top of the dome! What's up with that? Seems to be an unlikely place for a mold repair. Anyone else have or seen one of these? Is it more common than I think? I've only seen two other CD 149's before the three that came in this collection, but of all of them, this unit is the only one with the odd dome. Any comentsout there, especially as to why this thing exists? Thanks!
