Among the harder-to-find, and actually listed shades that the diversely-coloured Dominion - 42 CD 154 occurs in, is the light yellow green example. Thus far, I have only ever been able to recover this colouration from one location - a stretch of the CP line near my house (where most were destroyed by rocks, unfortunately, but several others accompanied me home). These pieces sparkle, and are obviously a different colour, even from the ground beneath a pole on which one is used! The embossing style is the [010], and the colour is an unusual, pure light or ice yellow green shade, with a very slight peach streak running up the front half (though all the pieces recovered had this streak, I am yet to be able to photograph it well). I have seen examples of a similar shade in the [020] embossing style, but these are equally scarce. This piece is in as good a condition as any of the examples I recovered were. This one has just one tiny 1/8" fisheye on the front skirt, unfortunately right on top of the first "I" in DOMINION. The only other detriment this piece has, is it's incredibly faint embossing. Dominion is still easily legible, but upon first glance, you would think the piece was a Diamond D 154, with no Dominion embossing. The photo does a pretty good job expressing this. I'm asking $60.00 U.S. plus shipping for this tough colouration, guaranteed to stand out among your other Dominion colours. I accept PayPal, and personal cheques or money orders from any member of ICON, or anyone I've dealt with before. Please feel free to email me for more photos, or with any questions. I encourage you to look through my "For Sale (Not Sold)" stock, and combine items to save on shipping. All the best! |
