Here is a clearer example of what Dave Dahle was describing in the previous photo. Dave is correct in that the pole he is showing, and hard to see because of trees, is the last known example in use of this style of line build in the former Mountain States Power service area of Pacific Power, located on the north Oregon Coast. This post card shows the former MSP suspension poles in two towns in that area. Both are post cards that just happened to be coincidental. The top one is in Rockaway Beach, OR. and the lower one is on a very tight corner in Oceanlake, OR. now called Lincoln City.
