I talked to the ole guy who owns this property by the line. Two different times he said "the line would sing". When I was young I would hold my ear up to open wire poles to here them "sing", but never on a line this big. I asked him when the wire was pulled down; he paused for a bit and said "1967". I am amazed these poles have survived for more than 40 years in this relatively developed area.
