This piece of Brookfield history made its way into my possession after I bought an early insulator reference book from an antique shop. The book was owned by the late Richard Baldwin of Terryville, Connecticut. From the story I have put together, Wm. L. Brookfield attended early Yankee Polecat Insulator Club meets and shows and usually brought his grandfather's seal that was used at the Brookfield Glass Company with him. Mr. Baldwin and Mr. Brookfield were at the meeting on February 25, 1973 and this was the end result.
