For years I have watched poletops to see if more glass was still being used for non railroad useage and only today, in my home town did I find a pair of CD 197's still in use on a pair of old streetlights up near the courthouse. Too bad they have replaced the old lights with newer ones, but at least they left the glass insulators! Cannot tell if they are Whitalls or Hemis, but they for sure are 197's.
