Up for sale this evening is a rather spectacularly amber-swirled BROOKFIELD CD 102. This one is in the [030] embossing style, with a backwards '16' on the dome top. The glass is a nice, dark Brookfield-sort of aqua, and clearly, the real kicker about this piece, is the absolutely amazing swathe of amber, running from the right side of the front skirt, back over the dome, and along the front skirt, into the rear skirt. The insulator displays from every angle with a prominent amount of amber swirls, and the photo shown does not accentuate them as well as it should. I wish I had a light box capable of illuminating the impurities in this one well. As well as the amber swirls, this one has a lot of smaller, seed-sized bubbles throughout the rear skirt, and the dome. The condition of this one is the only issue. There is a flat base flake that has completely removed 5 drips in the rear base - measuring 1" long. Short of this, there are 5 drips that are nicked almost completely off, and 3 that have just the very tips missing. All in all, the piece displays very nicely from the front, as can be seen, with only a couple "teeth" missing. I'm asking $21.00 U.S. plus shipping for this example of premium, amber-swirled Brookfield goodness. I accept PayPal, and personal cheques or money orders from any member of ICON, or anyone I've dealt with before. Please feel free to email me for more photos, or with any questions. I encourage you to look through my "For Sale (Not Sold)" stock, and combine items to save on shipping. All the best! Alright, how about $18.00 U.S. plus shipping for this one? |
