More rare than anyone short of a specialty collector will truly realize, more rare than royal purple examples, and more rare than milk swirled examples is this light green example of the [010] G.N.W. TEL. CO. CD 145. I have seen literally thousands of the [010] embossing style of the G.N.W. CD 145, and out of all those, I have seen a mere 10-12 of these light green examples. That is compared to well over 500 royal purple examples. Well, if you are attempting to complete a CD 145 G.N.W. lineup, and have been unable to find an example, here is one to fill a space until a better example comes along. This one even has "EL. CO." nicely ghost-embossed across the front of the insulator, just below the wire groove. The insulator spoken of is the example on the right. The light aqua piece on the left is just for comparison sake and is not for sale. Yes, just like so many of the other pieces I sell, this example isn't in the best of condition. There are 2 1/4" BB dings ornamenting the front dome, as well as another 2 on the rear dome. There is a 1 3/4" long scuff or scratch running from the front crown up over the dome. And, of course, the proverbial inner skirt chip. This one is in the front half of the inner skirt, and measures 3/4" long by 1/2" deep. I am asking $30.00 U.S. plus shipping for this VERY scarce colour variation. Don't let the condition deter you - any Canadian will tell you how hard it is to come across one of these, so don't miss out on this opportunity! This is probably the first time on has been offered on ICON! I accept personal cheques from any member of ICON, or anyone I've dealt with before. Please feel free to email me with any questions, or for additional photos! All the best! |
