They Took A Favorite Pole

Another look at the pole section as found. Note the large amount of coastal moss coating the cross arms. This is what happens to wood around here that was in the air for 50 years, yet it is not really rotten! The sky blue 2 skirter is an NGK U-876sim. The dead-end bells are Locke dated 1955, exactly the date that PP&L upgraded the line to a higher voltage. The MSP dead end clevis spools are common but I have never seen any marked.
