A style completely unique to the Canadian Porcelain company of Hamilton, Ontario, the U-2421 is an insulator defining of insulator manufacture in Canada from the 1930s through to the 1980s. This awesome, bulky-looking "scoop-top" cable style has personality all its own, and is renowned for coming in some pretty spectacular colours. Examples are known in a bright french green colour, as well as an even bright, canary yellow colour. This example is probably the third most difficult shade to obtain, behind the other two mentioned. The dark cobalt-glazed U-2421 examples do not seem to turn up too often. I've searched ICON, and can't seem to find any others that have ever been posted for sale! This has the "P inside a C" marking, signifying the Canadian Porcelain company. It came from the legendary Banks Brothers, the threadless diggers from here in Ontario, and it was my first ever dark cobalt example. That was about 5 years ago. It's taken me that long to find a slightly nicer shade of blue, to upgrade from this example.

The condition of this example is absolutely pristine. Generally I am hesitant to call any insulator "mint", but I can't find even the slightest scuff on this piece - it may have never been used! It's mint!

I'm asking $25.00 U.S. plus shipping. An absolutely beautiful insulator that you will not regret purchasing. I accept PayPal, and personal cheques or money orders from any member of ICON, or anyone I've dealt with before. Please feel free to email me for more photos, or with any questions. I encourage you to look through my "For Sale (Not Sold)" stock, and combine items to save on shipping. All the best!
