I found these two damaged M-2902 specimens in far upstate New York last weekend Of the two I was able to repair one complete insulator and an extra top after dooing a good bit of digging and raking. These insulators are totally unique to the Paul Smiths Power Light and Rail Co line to Paul Smiths Collage. All of the known I am aware of specimens in the hobby came from this line . Most of the good ones were picked up by collectors in the 1980's and 1990's with a few having also been found by hunters and hikers. The black flyes up there nearly ate me alive and no amount of bug spray seems to keep them away!! I was very happy to have found one of these in the wild as I had to sell my good one last year to pay some expenses : -( !!
