That's right, folks - as the title reads, this piece is amongst the very last of the North-American made glass pintypes to have ever rolled out of the annealing ovens. This seemingly ordinary Kerr CD 155 in the [010] embossing style has a date code of "78" embossed on the rear skirt, indicating that this piece was part of a very late-generation run of the DP 1 style for a special order. The skirt on this one still shows some of the scaliness present on most of the 1978-dated pieces. This is from the moulds having been stored, and them accumulating rust during the period of disuse after normal production was shut down in 1973. Thanks to Brent Burger for that information.

The condition of this piece is, as one would expect, immaculate. I don't see so much as a scratch on it. I know at least a couple people born in 1978 that look the same.

I'm asking $20.00 U.S. plus shipping for this "rare modern" - probably one that there aren't too many examples of out there. I accept PayPal, and personal cheques or money orders from any member of ICON, or anyone I've dealt with before. Please feel free to email me for more photos, or with any questions. I encourage you to look through my "For Sale (Not Sold)" stock, and combine items to save on shipping. All the best!
