Another in the series of Canadian CD 145s, this one falls into a more renowned category - the Great North Western Telegraph Company CD 145. This example, however, is in a lesser-renowned colouration. The light blue colouration that these heavy, [005]-index G.N.W. CD 145s occur in is a relatively tough colour to find in good condition. This colouration is characteristically full of tiny, micro-bubbles, and this piece is no exception. Underlighting the piece gives it a fantastic "planetarium" effect, and fills the insulators with tiny glinting specks of light. A beautiful light show to say the least, and in an already very pretty, pastel blue shade. There's even a small splash of amber in the rear skirt, which dramatically contrasts the light colouration of the piece. The condition of the piece is as good as I have ever seen, with only a few tiny scuffs in the wire groove from the heavy, iron telegraph wire the piece would have once carried. You won't find one better. I'm asking $12.00 U.S. plus shipping for this pristine example of a tough colour. I accept PayPal, and personal cheques or money orders from any member of ICON, or anyone I've dealt with before. Please feel free to email me for more photos, or with any questions. I encourage you to look through my "For Sale (Not Sold)" stock, and combine items to save on shipping. All the best! |
