Nice oddity Hemingray No 9. The Patent May 2 1893 is barely blotted and re embossed overtop with No 9. It now reads " May N2o 1993". The 8 is underneath the 9 and not visible. I had always hoped a "1993" embossing existed, and even tho this was completely unintentional, it does read 1993 and I am quite happy to have it!
