Hers's another view from the inside of the bruise on one side of the threads. The bruise is rough with just a bit of the glass gone from the surface. This will not show at all when the insulator is displayed.

Can't really call the color of this California CD 121 Toll insulator myself. It is purple at the least. Looks more like a bugandy to me.
