This installation is only a few miles away from here and the utility will be doing the changeover *soon*. I'm quite interested in the brown pintype insulators, lightning arrestors and Line Materials 100A box cutouts and the fellows at the utility promised me these things (using the good ole "beer wrench" of course). I do drive-by's every day hoping I'll be there in person when the changeover takes place. I've remembered this pole as being pretty much the same as it is today since the late 1960s...I'll kinda miss it.
