Found this in one of our old buildings. It is an old motor start switch with some huge porcelain fuses inside. I know the building was built in 1914 and the patent date on the switch and fuse is 1918, so I am assuming they electrified the building around then. There were 2 Hemi 9's mounted outside that I picked that carried the power to the building. This switch is still as tight in and out as the day it was new. I will post a pic of the inside of this switch. Thanks! |
