I have a number of questions about the Purple CD 154 Whithall Tatums I purchased the other day. I posted the overall haul at hunt and finds. All of the Whithalls are index 010. The pic I posted here have identical embossing, including MADE IN U.S.A. / 16 on the back skirt. As you can see these two are very different shades of purple. My question is why there is only one purple listed under the 010 index number. I noticed other CD 154 Whithal Tatums index numbers have both Purple and Dark Purple listed. Have I discovered a new insulator or were all purples just grouped together when it came to this particular index number? Has anyone else out in Icon country run across this situation. Further, most of the purples I see are more a Dark Lavender. The darker one I pictured here is more a Royal Purple. Is Dark Purple considered the same as a Royal Purple when it comes to Whithal Tatums? |
