My mentor and greatest friend in the hobby these past 30 years, Bill Reid got a surprise "Happy Birthday" song from the crowd. Bill has always been a friend to young collectors and my own group of punk kids were no exception back in the 70's. Bill always made us feel like first class citizens, even if we only operated on a paper route budget. It was the enthusiasm that counted and today was our day to honor Bill.
