Yet another nicely charactered tie wire, this one gagging a dark aqua B CD 145 of the [040] embossing style... just the B on the front skirt. The insulator itself is charactered to boot, with a malformed & particularly crooked inner skirt. I dug this one up myself, so I can attest to its provenance... nothing fake about this generic, dark aqua Brookfield piece. :-)

But the tie wire is where the character lay! That rusty iron wire has been wrapped around that insulator for probably over 80 years now, and the majority of that time, it lay buried beneath the soil along the Great Western here in S.W. Ontario. If that's not history, then I don't know what is.

The insulator itself is NM, with just a bit of haziness from being buried, and a couple dome-side pings.

I'm asking $10.00 U.S. plus shipping for this one. I accept PayPal, and personal cheques or money orders from any member of ICON, or anyone I've dealt with before. Please feel free to email me for more photos, or with any questions. I encourage you to look through my "For Sale (Not Sold)" stock, and combine items to save on shipping. All the best!
