this classic line runs for many miles in the northeast Nevada the line is peppered with CD 133 Stars, 102 Brookfields, 106 Hemingrays and later clear replacements . It took me back to my childhood standing under these poles as I remember lines like this all over rural Ohio in the early 1970's It brought back a sort of nostalgia for a time before cell phones and and the complexities of the era we now live in a time when all phones rang with a sweet bell sound and had a reliability that is seldom matched today. It was a weird place to be... There I was driving a 1966 vw bus on a lonely seldom used road in eastern Nevada standing under this long forgotten telephone line that has seen no real changes in over 60 years ... I wonder if the people on the end of this line still have party line service ... I bet that is NOT compatible with DSL service! I hope the telephone co forgets this line even exists!!
