Up for grabs this 'eve is a slightly tougher Canadian Pacific Ry Co CD 143 variant. The [150] embossing index is a bit tougher to find than the average Canadian Pacific 143, and this piece is a good example of that index. The embossing is different due to the presence of extra periods... periods, period, as a matter of fact - something that does not turn up too often on MLOD Canadian Pacific pieces. There is an extra period between the "R" & the "Y" embossing, as well as one between CANADIAN and PACIFIC. The colour is a normal light aqua shade. There is also a very nice bubble measuring 7/8" in length, directly above the embossing on the front skirt. The condition is not too bad for one of these, though the characteristic sharp outer base edge does have a few chips. There is one 3/8" shallow base flake on the front base, and two more in the rear base, one being 1/2" long, and the other 1" long. These always sound worse than they are because they follow the incredibly sharp outer base edge, and really have very little depth. I am asking $5.00 U.S. plus shipping for this example. I accept PayPal, and personal cheques or money orders from any member of ICON, or anyone I've dealt with before. Please feel free to email me for more photos, or with any questions. I encourage you to look through my "For Sale (Not Sold)" stock, and combine items to save on shipping. All the best! |
