Del Sol can make even common glass look great when still in service. There was little greenery able to live out in the rock and heat of this mountain, but this shot suggests differently. The elevation was close to 6,000 feet here and the temps in early May just below 100. A harsh place for anything to survive, but somehow this old line is still up and appeared to be working some 9 years into the 21st century.
