Distances are really hard to judge in terrain like this. The line looked to be a 30 second trot up the hill from the road below. It took something like 20 minutes to make the climb. The road seen here looks good in this shot, but would require a bulldozer to climb the grade below and move boulders the size of small cars. The red rocks of Sedona can be seen from some 30 miles away across the Verde Valley in this shot. Note the lightning rod welded to each pole. Something else of interest was that every pole along the route had alternating aqua and clear insulators across the arms.
