the very light blond topped M-2785 on the left was just found by Paul Greaves and I about two weeks ago in northern California. Finding any gutter in the wild is a very rare occurrence these days . ....but finding a M-2785 is really special !!! This is the first new M-2785 specimen to be found in the last eight years...(the one on the right was found by Paul and I in 2002) . What sets it apart from the 15 or so known specimens of these is this ones top color ... The top is a stunning green blond with warts in the porcelain . As far as I have seen, no other complete examples of this rare insulator are known in a very light color like this .
