These rounded base Canadian Pacific 143s come in a limited spectrum of colours, but admittedly, some of these are still pretty neat. These two are shades of green that this unusual mould style occurs in. The example on the left is the light yellow green colouration (the real colour is more vibrant in person, this photo turned out somewhat washed)., while the example on the right is a light green colouration in the [040] embossing style. The light yellow green example is in good shape, with one 1/4" fisheye on the front dome above the first 'N' in CANADIAN. Short of that, there are some open bubbles on the inside edge of the base. These are not visible from the embossing/display side of the insulator, however. There is also a short (1/4" tall) annealing crack that runs up from the base edge beneath "RY". Similar cracks are common in this colour and embossing style. I believe they are from manufacture. The light green example is in good shape as well, with the extent of its damage being a 1/2" tall by 5/8" wide fan crack/chip on the inside edge of the base, just behind the "CO." embossing. This sort of chip is also common on these rounded base pieces, due to the fragility of the inner base edge. This chip sounds worse than it is. There is also some other minor flaking around the inside base edge. I am asking $29.00 U.S. plus shipping for the duo, or $25.00 U.S. plus shipping for the light yellow green, and $6.00 U.S. plus shipping for the light green. I accept PayPal, and personal cheques or money orders from any member of ICON, or anyone I've dealt with before. Please feel free to email me for more photos, or with any questions. I encourage you to look through my "For Sale (Not Sold)" stock, and combine items to save on shipping. All the best! |
