Up for grabs is a pair of shiny, clean-as-the-day-they-were-made Canadian Pacific Ry Co. CD 143s. These two share one common element - the presence of a large, obvious "STANDARD" blotout on the rear skirt. Considering the number of CAN PAC 143s around, these STANDARD blotout pieces do not turn up too often. Both of these two are different mould styles. As can be seen, the embossing on the front skirt is completely different. As well, the example on the example on the left is more of a blue aqua than the one on the right. These are the [050] embossing style. The condition of both examples is good. I am calling the light aqua example on the right VNM, as I can't really see much wrong with it at all. Perhaps a tiny fleabite or two. The example on the left I would call NM, with its only damage being a shallow open bubble in the front base (from manufacturing), a couple tiny fleabites on the very bottom edge of the front skirt, and one fleabite on the right, upper wire ridge, right on the mould line. This is not significant damage at all. I am asking $8.00 U.S. plus shipping for the two of them. I accept PayPal, and personal cheques or money orders from any member of ICON, or anyone I've dealt with before. Please feel free to email me for more photos, or with any questions. I encourage you to look through my "For Sale (Not Sold)" stock, and combine items to save on shipping. All the best! |
