Sometimes when line hunting, I'll go out to try to find a place I've found in a historic reference or article. In that case, it is sometimes fun to try to find the exact place one of the historic photos was taken from, and take the exact photo as it looks today. Comparing them can be very interesting! I will post a few tonight.

This one is of a water tunnel done as part of a PG&E power project in the 'teens. The buildings are long gone.
