One for your display window... this Canadian Pacific 143 in the [170] embossing style absolutely sparkles in any kind of light. The colour is a difficult-to-describe light blue sort of shade... not a normal light aqua, by my standards. The glass has a sort of "vibrancy" to it that I find difficult to describe. I have only owned a few in this particular "vibrant light blue" shade, and I am always happy to pick one up. This one came out of a recent collection purchase. The glass really passes light so well that every detail of the insulator's interior shows up well from the outside. The threads look pretty neat through the glass on this one! There is also a bit of underpour along the right side of the base, about 2" long. This just makes the piece that much more interesting, as it adds a bit of a warped look to the base edge. The condition of the piece is good, with just a trio of incredibly light fisheyes, no more than 1/8" in diameter each, on the rear dome. They are truely difficult to see. I am asking $9.00 U.S. plus shipping for this all-round interesting piece. I accept PayPal, and personal cheques or money orders from any member of ICON, or anyone I've dealt with before. Please feel free to email me for more photos, or with any questions. I encourage you to look through my "For Sale (Not Sold)" stock, and combine items to save on shipping. All the best! |
