My son Eddie and I went bike riding on the Iron Horse Trail today. This is the old "Milwaukee Road" Rail Line, at least it use to be. It went bankrupt back in 1980 and has now been turned into a bike trail that runs from North Bend to Vantage, across Snoqualmie Pass. The locomotives were DC powered so there are old poles still standing that once served the overhead power cable. There are sections where the old signal line still remains. A lot of the poles have been picked but here and there insulators can be found.
